Entry requirements: You should ideally hold four GCSEs (A-C), or other level 2 qualification (BTEC 1st Diploma, NVQ level 2) in an art, design or media area, or relevant industry experience. Mature students with relevant experience and qualifications are very welcome. Applicants must posses motivation and commitment to design and to the completion of the course.
Progression graduates from this course wil typically move on to higher education or the creative industries.

Content
This course enables you to investigate the use of CAD modelling software to explore Interior spaces and environments and inform the design and development of solutions to design problems. You will apply technical skills to progress and resolve visualising and modelling problems, and be able to appropriately output and present visuals.
later on the course you will be able to place your spatial design practice in to a relevant professional context. You will be asked to develop a comprehensive project which will enable you to recognise creative influences in your own work and develop an understanding of your own creative ambitions. Through planning, implementation and review you will be able to assess and develop your spatial design and presentation skills
