How it works

Throughout the course, students are guided through the various units via online lessons which can be viewed at a time convenient for the individual, whether live or recorded. One-to-one support sessions are available with the tutor to discuss each unit and assignment, and provide feedback on progress.

The course begins with an induction where students discuss their previous background and desired route through the course and beyond. Students are guided through an overview of the units (below) and an assessment plan is agreed with deadlines for each unit.

Assessment

Feedback is provided on each piece of work and each assignment set for students. This can be via chat or interactively through the sharing of submitted work.

Final submissions are marked with either Pass, Merit or Distinction against the published assessment criteria, and are internally moderated with colleagues across OCAD.
