Level 2 Certificate (GCSE EQV) - Student Final Year Portfolio

Oct 29, 2023

April Akan completed her course in 2022 - this is her fantastic final year project

This portfolio shows her incredible skill and the creative processes which she embarked on to complete her final project. It is a wonderful documentation of a personal journey with discovery and storytelling. Wonderful example of what our students produce in the final year of their course.

Based on the starting point of PORTRAITURE, April took many twists and turns and you are in awe of her journey as you look through the pages - each artwork showing incredible skill as well as creative and unexpected explorations that really showcase creativity and confidence with every page turn.

Level 2 Certificate in Art and Design (Equivalent to Art GCSE) is usually taken over 2 years, but full time student can achieve this in less that one academic year. Year 1 is full of exploring and development of skills, whilst the final project is written and independently produced by the student. This allows for full flexibility of themes and approaches and, as you can see with April's project, students create some incredible work.
