Tutor Demo - Graphite Eye time lapse

Oct 24, 2023

Here is a time lapse of a tutorial given by our very own Kieran Ingram. Kieran works with us across many of our courses, delivering expert tuition on drawing and painting skills. You will find him across our YouTube channel, and our students are very lucky to have him 1:1 on TEAMS should they have any questions at all.

Level 2 Certiticate in Art and Design (Art GCSE EQV) students learn a lot about fundamentals of art in their first part of the course. Even though it is never expected for any student to be refined observational drawers, everyone is always fascinated at this skill that Kieran showcases. Many of our students actually do show exceptional skill in drawing and learn a lot from gaining the tools and techniques in observation from early on in their course.

Kieran supports many of our recreational students who are with us to gain skills but do not require a qualification at the end, so they are free in their approach and pace.

We currently have many students keen to learn these skills using digital media. This is also an area that Kieran has given many workshops on as he is a keen digital artist and, before training in Florence, used this method a lot in his work. Students in all fields learn a lot from Kieran and just watching this time lapse it is always fascinating to see him at work :)
